YAY! Skype presentation for NCT is finally over and done with! (: Was researching all about Skype for the past 3 days which equals information overload! Stuff like legal issues and all those tech VoIP terms kept popping out and I was regretting choosing Skype as my topic! I thought it was simply call and video call and chat. I was damn wrong. But at least now i know all the amazing extras Skype has and how to use the screen-sharing function. I think it’s super amazing lor. Was trying to figure out how come I cant use screen-sharing the whole night then finally after hours realized that it’s because my lappy doesnt have a webcam. -.-

Did not intend to actually use screen-sharing for my presentation but as luck turns out i had to la. Linked Bernard’s comp which I was using for presentation to Natalie’s comp which had my ppt slides and videos and I was really hoping that murphy’s law would not strike. Luckily managed to get it to work after the chaos and the echos and the what-nots.

I would switch over from MSN to Skype if it wasnt for the fact that 99% of my friends only have MSN accounts and not Skype. And i hate logging in to both cos it lags my laptop so much and I absolutely cannot stand people talking to me from all over the place. Oh and my favourite thing about Skype, you talk to everyone in one window, no more numerous irritating pop-up windows with the orange light flashing non-stop when I’m talking to many ppl at once. I wish more ppl would jump over to skype. msn is over-rated! HAHA.

And Skype’s idiot-proof lah! For those of you who niao me and say Skype is chim – if you know how to use MSN, you’ll know how to use Skype!
